Ranks and Rank Requirements

Rank 9 - Page: This is the entry level and apprentice rank of the guild. After a two week trial period, and upon passing a general review with an officer, he or she is promoted to a Squire.

Rank 8 - Squire: This is the basic full member position for Sauvage Guard. A Squire is a new, yet fully vested member of the guild. They are granted the privilege of wearing the guild emblem. Squires are permitted full access to the guild siege and general loot vault, and are granted the ability to hear alliance chat.

Rank 7 - Knight: Any Squire who has been in good standing with the guild for two full months is eligible for the rank of a Knight. All Knights are respected within the community and guild, and represent Sauvage Guard in a manner befitting of a true knight. Knights are granted the privilege to speak in /asend in accordance with Sauvage Guard standards for Alliance Chat. Because Knights have demonstrated sustained honorable conduct, they are granted the ability to sponsor new applicants into the Guard.

Rank 6 - High Guard: High Guard is the first of our RvR oriented ranks. In order to be promoted to High Guard, one must meet the qualifications of, or have been, a Knight, and achieved a minimum of Realm Rank 3.5 (122,500 rps). Like a Knight, the High Guard is granted the privilege to speak in /asend in accordance with Sauvage Guard standards for Alliance Chat, and the ability to sponsor new applicants into the Guard.

Rank 5- Banneret Knight: Banneret Knight is the second of the Knight ranks. Persons promoted to this rank have demonstrated a solid commitment to the guild with a minimum of 6 months as an honorable member. Banneret Knights know guild life well and are considered mentors to High Guard, Knights, Squires and Pages.

Rank 4 - Exalted Knight: The highest Knight rank within Sauvage Guard is awarded to those who have been members of the guild for a year or more. Their reputation must be above reproach within and without the guild. Exalted Knights are well respected and knowledgeable about guild rules and life. They are granted the privilege of promoting members up to High Guard (rank 6) provided such individuals meet the requirements. The Exalted Knight earns this position by a vote of the officer council.

Rank 3 - Imperial High Guard: The Imperial High Guard are the hard core realm vs. realm members of Sauvage Guard. These are the people you look up to for advice and help in RvR. They are our RvR captains and are encouraged to make RvR groups as well as host RvR events. In order to be promoted to this prestigious rank one must meet the qualifications of a Banneret Knight and have attained at least RR5 (513,500 rps). The Imperial High Guard are granted the ability to claim/upgrade and release outposts and keeps. Like the Exalted Knight, Imperial High Guard members have the privilege of promoting members up to High Guard (rank 6). This position is granted only by a vote of the officer council.

Promotion Rules

Members seeking a rank promotion must post their request on the Member Changes board under Members Forums. Please post your current rank, what new rank you're seeking, your level, RP's and any addition comments in your post. An officer will then reply and a time will the be arranged for the requester to meet the officer for any approval steps (interviews, tests, etc,). If passed, the results will then be posted as a reply to the promotion post. After all requirements and approval steps are completed, a time will be arranged to perform the actual promotion.
