At the haunted keep near Avalon City, Lord Caddug and his undead friends lay for some time, undisturbed, until Sauvage Guard stormed in. On Oct. 18 2003, Led by Hubrez, Sauvage Guard plowed through the plethora of mobs and engaged Lord Caddug in at first what seemed like an easy kill. We handled the adds, we circled the undead Keep Lord and we gave him our all. Five, ten, fifteen minutes went by but Lord Caddug would not fall. He parried, he resisted, he self-healed uninterrupted by our continuous attack. Lorianna arrived mid-battle to assist in the effort. Lord Caddug threw Calderon off the platform. He threw Katchmee and others in the same manner. We pressed on. After a longer battle than one with a level ten keep Lord, an army of theurgist pets were summoned and we gave it our last and final effort. Lord Caddug fell. We rejoiced, and we moved on to Dales of Devwy.

In Dales of Devwy Sauvage Guard encountered many foes. Partially disrobed for fun and to show strength, the Guard took on Pazia, the Tower Keeper, the Tower Guardian, and everything else in our path. We then gathered in the upper room, celebrated our victories and posed for a picture on the royal red bed. And then it was time for Ris'nir Cruss.

We traveled northeast to an abandoned village. We surveyed the Drakoran necromancer Ris'nir Cruss, and began pulling his minions. Ris'nir Cruss took little liking to our presence there and quickly left his dwelling to engage us. As we had with Lord Caddug, Sauvage Guard and friends circled Ris'nir Cruss. Arrows flew, swords swung, spells were cast and heals were given. As Ris'nir Cruss' health waned, he glared his red eyes at us and in an instant we were all mesmerized, stunned, immobile. A lone scout got agro and began to take the beating for us all. Calderon and Sult purged and re-engaged Ris'nir. Soon everyone snapped from their magic induced slumber and resumed the attack. In a desperate attempt to save himself, Ris'nir threw another spell on us to mesmerize his attackers once again. It failed, and he fell. Sauvage Guard was victorious once more.

From there we moved to Caldey in a most unusual route along a river, around trees and through mob-infested brush. We arrived near the Barbarian town and found the winged creature Amphiptere. In the blink of an eye, we killed him and moved on. Perhaps over confident from our recent success, we entered against wisdom into the nearby graveyard. We cleared several high level undead creatures and then pulled Vortanos.

Again, against wisdom we remained there in the graveyard rather than pulling to a safe distance and engaged the undead in an epic battle. Cries from all around were heard as the undead fell, and our comrades beside them. Vortanos was slain and his robes gathered, but the battle pressed on. He had summoned the graveyard to aid him, and our situation was looking grim. Paladins pealed several attackers from our only Cleric, Manick. Numidos cried out and fell. Beloved shrieked and fell. Our ranks were thinning, too many against us, too many lost. One by one we went down, adding to the tombstones in the graveyard. And then, in the fashion only found in worlds such as Camelot, we released, reassembled, and distributed what loot was gathered from the stingy beasts destroyed that day.

A job well done Sauvage Guard. Excellent team work and good fun for all.
