On Friday night, January 10, 2003, following our guild meeting, Sauvage guard headed into the frontier to make quarrel with an Elf who had polluted our lands with his Hibernian-like presence too long. Three groups of SG moved in mass to the edge of Forest Sauvage and engaged the Green Knight. A couple of wandering Albs joined our force that day for what would be a momentous occasion. Swords clashed, spells were cast and many fell that day. Every death was followed by a rez, at the cost of that person's own life. A cycle began of death-rez-death-rez while survivors continued to battle the Green Knight.

Night turned into day and the battle continued. The Green Knight made several attempts to evade us by porting himself out of harms way, yet each time Sauvage Guard charged him with zeal and began the pummeling again. After a half-hour long battle the Green Knight was slain for the first time in the memory of everyone present that day. Our monetary reward was a laughable 8 pieces of silver, but our list of epic accomplishments as a guild grew yet again. With brute force and determination, Sauvage Guard took down the Green Knight.
