Charter
We pledge to always conduct ourselves in an honorable manner. We vow to always help those in need, to have fun, to respect our fellow guard members, to work as a team where such matters dictate, and to listen to the orders of those we are placed under the command of. We further pledge to always be on the lookout for opportunities to decrease the surplus Midgardian and Hibernian populations, with zeal and fervor.
No member of the Guard should ever display traits of greed or deceit to other Albions, whether guard members or not. The embodiment of the honorable reputation of Sauvage Guard will be the goal of all of the ranks.
The officers reserve the right to demote and/or discharge any guard member if tales of conduct unbecoming of Sauvage Guard are brought to their attention, and the guard member is deemed unworthy.
All guard members will be given permission to speak freely to the officers on matters of great importance to ensure they have all necessary information to make the right decision. All guard members will trust that the officers base all decisions on what is best for the rank and file and not what they feel as individuals.
The spoils of joint ventures within the Guard will be shared evenly among all those participating. Any excess treasures contributed by guard members will be shared among all the guard as seen fit.
Guild Priorities
- Relic Defense
- Guild Meetings
- SG Claimed Keep Defense
- Guild Events
- Alliance Events: Planned Alliance Functions, these may include Relic Raids, Dragon Raids, etc.
- Albion Keep Defense: Defending Keeps in the Albion Frontier and reclaiming them if they're taken by Hib/Mid.
- Alliance RvR Assistance: Responding for requests from general Alliance Captains for assistance. This could be breaking a Gate Blockade at MG1 in Emain, helping take Bledmeer, holding Crimm, etc.
Realm War Command Structure
- Realm War Officer
- Warlord
- Officer Council
- Guard Captains
- Realm War Ranks (Guard Captain through Guard Member)
- Guard Apprentice
It is important to note that Sauvage Guard has always had two separate leadership Structures; one for RvR, and one for the Guild. This is because a good Guild Leadership needs debate and fairness, but a good Combat Leadership needs a strict Command Chain.
The top three levels of Realm Command (Realm War Officer, Warlord and Officer Council) have command ability to call the guild as a whole for the top three priorities (Relic Defense, Guild Meetings and SG Claimed Keep Defense). After that point (Guild events, alliance events, Albion keep defense and alliance RvR assistance), participation is optional. In a case where a conflict of interest occurs between a Realm Command Rank and an Event Leader, the Realm Commander should contact the Event Leader via /send. They should then decide at that point in time if the event will be postponed, or if the event participants will be opting out of the realm war action at hand.
SG Life
Guild chat: It is expected that Guild chat will be kept clean. Have fun here, but keep it clean.
Loot rules and distribution: Raids: Any loot received on a raid is put up for lotto. Only players that can use the item are allowed to lotto for it. One item per person unless no one else wants the item. People on the raid get first choice over people that did not attend. If no one on the raid wants it, the item is put up for general lotto within the guild. XP group: If an item drops we recommend need before greed. If there is a dispute random 1/100 for it.
Power Leveling: It is not the responsibility of high-level characters to help lower level characters to level. Many choose to do this at various occasions and it should be greatly appreciated, but it is not their responsibility. Please do not ask or expect people who are higher than you to power level you. Feel free to ask for groups etc., but do not think it is the duty of a high level person to help everyone else continually level.
Complaints: Complaints go up, not across or down. If you ever have a problem with a fellow guild member or officer that cannot be resolved between you, or a problem with the guild in general, please consult an officer regarding it and not other guard members. This way any issues can be dealt with swiftly and appropriately with the least harm done to the guild.
